Managing Android Device Power Settings and App Optimization
While any of these settings are active it may result in the application crashing or not tracking distance and therefore we’d like to encourage users to adjust power settings and disable optimization for Zeopoxa apps if enabled. Here are the steps you’ll need to follow to adjust your power management settings and app optimization settings in order to resolve this issue for Huawei devices.
Huawei
Disable the power saver on Huawei devices
- Open the phone’s settings
- Select “Battery”
- Disable “Power saving mode” and “Ultra power saving mode”
Disable app optimization on Huawei devices (for Android 6 or higher)
- Open your phone settings
- Select “Apps & Notifications”
- Tap “Apps”
- Select “Settings” at the bottom followed by “Special access”
- Select “Ignore optimizations”
- Press “Allowed” and select “All apps”
- Find Zeopoxa on the list and set to “Allow”
Add Zeopoxa apps to “Protected Apps”
- Open the phone’s settings
- Tap Advanced Settings
- Tap Battery Manager
- Now, click on the “Protected apps”
- Add Zeopoxa apps to “Protected Apps”
